Kids

At J.Crew Crewcuts and Martha Stewart Kids, I developed my approach to art directing children’s imager — where authenticity, energy, and unpredictability shape the work as much as concept and composition. The focus was on creating scenes that felt natural and expressive rather than overly styled, allowing personality to come through while still maintaining a strong visual point of view.

Working closely with stylists, photographers, and young talent, I learned how to balance structure with spontaneity — capturing moments that felt genuine while still delivering clear, compelling storytelling. The result was imagery that resonated with both children and parents, grounded in a sense of ease, joy, and real-life relatability.
